EA4T steel for demanding applications
The axles are manufactured from EA4T alloy steel, a material widely used for railway axles in demanding, high-load applications where strength and reliability are essential.
Following heat treatment, the material achieves the required mechanical properties. Selected axle surfaces also undergo additional strengthening, enhancing their resistance to operational loads and supporting long-term performance.
From billet preparation and heat treatment to precision machining, surface strengthening and final inspection, every stage of production is carefully controlled.
